Located on a corner, the original house contains generous living areas and bedrooms with intact Federation features. The house was lacking the amenity and services of a contemporary dwelling. The alterations & additions incorporate a new open plan living area, modern services, study, garage and barbecue area.
Reflecting its role as the heart of the dwelling the new open plan living room and kitchen forms the centrepiece of the new additions, which reorients the dwelling to the sunny north and incorporates a
terrace elevated from the street. The terrace now maximises the opportunities of a previously unusable external space.
