The proposal contained in this Development Application provides an additional bedroom, and consolidated open plan kitchen living and dining arrangement. Clerestory windows orientated north improve sunlight amenity and assist in cross ventilation. Retrospectively living and dining areas have a strong relationship to the backyard with the addition of outdoor decking area and landscaping.
The new roof pitch makes a connection with the angled hipped roof facing the street. Materials used match existing material palette including the galvanised capping paint render brickwork and ironed roofing. Furthermore the plan has openings north easterly and east west minimising direct view to neighbours.
